    Confirmed Mission:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the service for Murdock A. Briery 82, United States Air Force, Korea and Vietnam Veteran.
    “Dock” served 22 years and achieved the rank of Tech Sergeant. Link to obituary:

    Date/Time: Saturday, June 13th, 2015 10am

    Location: Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 South IH-35, Georgetown, TX.

    Directions: We will stage at the funeral home, which is located on the southbound frontage road of IH-35. If traveling north on IH-35, take exit 264, cross over to southbound side.     8:45am – 9:15am Staging
    9:15am – Briefing
    9:30am – Flag Line

    Wx: Lo-72 Hi-92 30% Chance of isolated shower, ( KVUE Wx)

    Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather. Graveside service will be at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.

    Thank you all who came to honor this Korean / Vietnam USAF veteran. The USAF honor guard did an excellent job. out of the 11 folks, 3 were first timers. The family was very gracious and were glad that we were there. the widow said " 'Doc' would be so proud."

    Special appreciation to Lyn for wrangling the flags. Hope you get to feeling better Dick.

    Received this in a nice card from the family, for the PGR members:

    You were present at my fathers memorial service, Murdock Briery, this past Saturday. The sight of you all lining the building immediately set the tone for a service that truly honored a man who served this great country with love and dedication.
