Short Notice Confirmed Mission: The family of Mr. Edward Albert Morgan has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral service.  Mr. Morgan served in the US Army for 20 years, including a combat tour in Vietnam.

Date/Time: Friday, 08 August 2025.  Funeral service begins at 10 am

Wx: High 100 deg F, sunny

Notes: This mission is a flag line prior to the funeral. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line depart quietly.

Thank you to the eight patriots who stood the flag line today to honor Ed Morgan’s service to our country. Short notice was no problem for our riders!

Our flag line in front of the funeral home was about 50/50 sun/shade, but as it was early in the day, we managed fine. Mr. Morgan’s son and a number of his American Legion compatriots thanked us for our presence. It was our privilege to be there.

RIP Edward Albert Morgan.
