    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the dedication ceremony for a new Veteran Memorial Monument at the Cedar Park Veterans Memorial Park.

    One of the people responsible for raising the funds and getting the monument built is Lisa Morris, mother of Spc Matthew Morris, who was KIA in Iraq in 2008. We were honored to stand and ride for Matthew at the time.

    Date/Time: Saturday, 12 November 2011. Dedication ceremony is 2 – 4 pm.

    Let's get together for lunch before the ceremony at J&J BBQ, 300 West Whitestone Blvd., Cedar Park, TX 78613. http://www.jj-bbq.com

    Timeline:
    11:30 am-1:00 pm lunch at J&J BBQ.
    1:00 pm briefing
    1:10 pm KSU for the short ride to the park.

    Wx: Partly cloudy, low 47, high 74 deg.

    Notes: The restaurant will provide separate checks as needed. Once we arrive at the park, we will form a flag line for approx. 30 min prior to the ceremony, then break down the flag line once the ceremony begins. We will also present a wreath on behalf of the PGR as part of the ceremony.

    I contacted the J & J BBQ Restaurant, we are set up for 11-12-11 at 11:30 (separate checks) for a meet & greet before the dedication.

    THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO THIS EVENT! GOOD TURNOUT .. "SKID & MOTOTERRY" DID THE LAYING OF THE WREATH, WELL DONE ! SARAH, GOT US OUT OF J&J'S PARKING LOT AND BACK ON 1431 THE EASY WAY.. GOOD TIP, IT WAS APPRECIATED.
