The family of Mr. Phillip (Buddy) Slack has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Slack served in the US Army and is a Korean War veteran. Location: Crofts Funeral Home, 305 East Elm Street, Johnson City, Texas 78636. Funeral service is at 10:00 am with burial at Round Mountain Cemetery immediately following.
Directions: Coming into Johnson City on Hwy 281 from the north or south, turn west on Hwy 290 towards Fredericksburg. Go three blocks to Avenue E and turn south (left). Go one block to Elm. Crofts Funeral Home will be on the right. GPS Coordinates: N 30deg 16' 33.31" W 98deg 24' 31.54"

Notes: There will be a procession from the funeral home up to the cemetery in Round Mountain at the conclusion of the funeral, approx. 12 miles north. Fly your big flags if so equipped.

Austin Staging: For those wishing to meet and ride out together from Austin:
Location: The old Albertsons parking lot just west of the "Y" in Oak Hill in Austin. There's a Jim's Restaurant there as well, open 24/7 if you want breakfast first.
Directions: From Austin take Hwy 290W just past the hwy 290/71 "Y" in Oak Hill. Turn right into the parking lot.
