The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of CW4 Joe Duncum to stand in honor at his memorial service. Joe joined the 36th infantry in 1948. On 30 May 1990, at the time of his retirement, he was the senior Chief Warrant Officer in the Department of the Army with more than 23 years of time- in- grade.

Austin area riders will stage just south of Bishop’s Chapel. Across the street from the Gen. John C.L. Scribner Texas Military Forces museum. Exit the MOPAC Expressway at 35th Street . Go west on 35th Street 6/10ths of a mile to the gated entrance of Camp Mabry (i.e., Maintenance Drive ). After passing through security, go straight to the stop sign and turn right. At the next stop sign, turn right
again.) Bishop’s chapel is on the left past the parade ground. The parking lot next to the Chapel will be set aside for us. There will be a flag line at the Chapel; in addition I will ask for four big flag bikes to return to the gate and accompany the family car to the chapel. Col Simpson has relaxed the usual DoD regulations,However, you must bring a photo ID.

Weather calls for temperatures to be in the mid 90’s.
