An enormous "thanks" to all who attended Don's funeral service on Tuesday. The patriotism and show of respect for his accomplishments and service spawned many comments from our family members and friends. Some of them told me it was hard to drive in the procession because their eyes were sweating.
Thanks to my "Blue Family", we all got there safely.
The comments continued after the cemetery portion and someone gave my granddaughter a pin, which is still on her coat! I did not see who did this, but thank you!
There just seems to be a different view and feeling about the PGR mission when you are sitting in a family car and following a hearse containing your family member. and it is surrounded by bikes and flags.
Thanks to all who took the time out of their day to stand tall for Don.
