SNOWBALL EXPRESS SEND OFF & WELCOME BACK
The Patriot Guard Riders have again been invited to send off the Gold Star Families participating in this year's Snowball Express.

DEPARTURE

Date: Thursday, 9 Dec 10

Location: The south gate of the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport, located at the intersection of Reese Creek and Okalla Roads at the SW corner of Browns Cemetery tinyurl.com/3x4f7fv.

Staging Time: 1415

Briefing: 1420

KSU: 1430-1445 PLEASE BE ON TIME! Once we are guided onto the tarmac, there will be no other riders allowed in the gate.

WX: Sunny, with a high near 65.

RETURN
CANCELLED – It has been determined that the families, after their "Whirlwind Extravaganza" weekend, would much prefer to come back and get to their homes without a lot of fanfare.

Location: The Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport, 8101 South Clear Creek Road, Killeen, TX tinyurl.com/265gk8q The EXACT staging location within the airport grounds is in the process of being coordinated.

Notes for BOTH days:

1. NO WEAPONS.

2. We will establish a flagline/corridor on the tarmac for the families to walk through on their way to and from the aircraft.

3. This is not a sullen occasion, so clapping, cheering, handshaking and hugging IS encouraged as the families pass us!

4. Arrive hydrated and bring water for yourself & a buddy.

5. Check the weather and dress appropriately for the conditions. Remember, it is colder on the tarmac than in the parking lot!
