Very Short Notice Confirmed Mission
The family of James Scott Killough has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Killough is the nephew of PGR member Tom Troutman and was an Army Ranger, leaving the service as an E4.
Date/Time: Sunday, 25 September 2011. Service scheduled for 3 pm.
Location: First Baptist Church, 701 Davis Street, Taylor, TX. We will stage at the former school building parking lot across Davis St. from the church.
Directions: Traveling eastbound on Hwy 79, go north at the loop (Carlos Parker Blvd) to the first right, W. Lake Drive. Continue 1.3 miles east to Davis St. Turn south and go 0.5 miles. 1:45 pm – 2:15 pm staging
2:15 pm briefing followed by flag line establishment
Wx: Partly cloudy, low 66, high 99 deg. Another hot one. Don't forget water and sunscreen.
Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Do not park in the church parking lot, as those spaces are required for mourners. See the parking directions above. Following the funeral service we will form a flag line at the Taylor City Cemetery for the interment ceremony.
