SFC Donald G. Ament, 83, US Army, Retired
WWII and Korean War Veteran, Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class Donald G. Ament, 83, of Killeen has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
He joined the US Army at the age of 15 and served for over twenty years before retiring as a Sergeant First Class in 1967. He served during World War II and the Korean War. Don was not one to talk about his medals and awards. When asked by the family he would say, "Oh I had numerous medals, awards… yada, yada, yada." He always said it was a team effort. He was the past Post Commander of VFW 3892 Harker Heights and Past District 14 Commander of the Texas Veterans of Foreign War and member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter SW Labombard 29.

Briefing: 1110 – Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await arrival of the procession.
