CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
MSG Manuel Mize, 79, US Army, Retired
Korean War & Vietnam Veteran, Killeen, TXThe family of Master Sergeant Manuel Mize has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the Funeral Procession and Inurnment of their Loved One.
Manuel was the neighbor, good friend and a mentor to Ron "Joker" Smith, one of our Ride Captains. He loved to ride! In fact, Joker had taken him for a ride only weeks before he passed. Manuel's widow, Linda, has requested that Joker not only ride Manuel's bike from the funeral home to the cemetery, but Ron will also carry Manuel's cremains along with a secret stash of M&M's tucked in with the urn – they were Manuel's favorite candy when he was allowed to eat them OR SNEAK them! The family will already be at the cemetery as they dearly wish to watch the procession bring Manuel on his bike into the cemetery and to the Columbarium.
