CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
Lt Eric D Wallace, 36
Bryan & Marlin FD & EMS, LOD Marlin, TXThe family of Lieutenant Eric Wallace has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Interment of their Loved One.
Lieutenant Wallace's life was claimed in the Line of Duty (LOD) during a fire at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Friday, 15 Feb 13, in Bryan, TX. Eric was a rider and loved his job as a Firefighter and Paramedic. He was a 13-year veteran of the Bryan Fire Department and a member of the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department. In 2010, he was honored by the 100 Club for bravery in a 2009 fire. Eric was an avid hunter and he coached several sports activities in which his children participated. He was a member of the Marlin Men's Civic Association; AF & AM Masonic Lodge 152 of Marlin; International Association of Firefighters, Local 1203; and the First Baptist Church of Marlin.

Flagline Establishment: 1200 +/- At the discretion of the Ride Captain. There will be a family procession arriving from Bryan – No PGR Participation.
WX: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 71. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Notes:
1. Caging IS encouraged because of the weather – if you DO RIDE, bring KICKSTAND PADS. This is a flagline only mission – NO PROCESSION.
2. Be at stagings ON TIME and topped off.
3. Expect "hurry up & waits." Bring snacks if you are so inclined.
4. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
