    Confirmed Mission:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family to participate in the funeral services of their loved one. SSgt Randy Barber 29, active duty U.S. Army passed away in Oklahoma and his services will be conducted in Bastrop Texas.

    Date/Time: Saturday, January 12th, 2013 10:00am

    Location: Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Texas Hwy 71 E, Bastrop Tx

    Directions: We will stage at the funeral home. Going east on Hwy 71 from Austin, cross the Colorado River bridge, and after passing the intersection of Hwy 95, the funeral home will be on the right. It is the first driveway on the right and the building is hard to see at first until you are even with it. The mailbox by the driveway has a small sign that says Providence Funeral Home.

    08:45am – 9:10am Staging
    9:10am – Mission/Safety Briefing
    9:30am – Flag Line

    WX: Partly Cloudy, high – 74 Lo – 57, 20% chance of rain in PM (KVUE WX)

    Notes: Once the service is completed, we will join the LEO escorted procession for the ride to the Haynie Chapel Cemetery, Garfield Tx. Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend.

    Thanks to everyone who came out to honor this young man. we had 10 bikes and two cages. i spoke with several of the Artillery officers who were present and they were very appreciative that we came and stood for S/SGT Barber.
