Mr. Martin Ayers passed away on Saturday, 14 November. He is the father of our own Terry Ayers, who has invited the PGR to be present at his father's services.

DOB: 10-19-20
Died: 11-14-09
Age 89

Served as a Private in Company B, 111th Quartermaster Regiment, 36th Infantry Division, "T-Patchers" Texas National Guard.

Prior to the start of WW II he lost his left leg above the knee in an accident while working at his civilian job. He was certified as being permanently disabled and received an Honorable Discharge.

Visitation is on Wednesday, 18 November, 6 – 8 pm at Cook Walden.

Date/Time: Thursday, 19 November 2009, 1:00 pm service

Location: Cook Walden Funeral Home, 14501 I-35, Pflugerville, TX. We will stage at the funeral home.

Directions: From IH35 take the Howard Lane exit & proceed on the north bound service drive approx. 0.8 mi to Cook Walden Funeral Home. Entrance is on the right, opposite the expressway on-ramp. Map link: tinyurl.com/yf5pa6e

Timeline:
1145-1220 hrs staging at the funeral home
1220 briefing
1225 flag line in place in front of the Chapel

Wx: Predicted high 74, 30% rain chance.

Notes: Bring water to stay hydrated. Burial will be in Section G of the Cook Walden Cemetery, about 400 yds from the staging area, immediately following the funeral service. There will not be a riding procession to the grave site.
