The Austin Patriot Guard Riders were In Georgetown, TX today. There were 8 PGR members present to stand in a flag to honor Petty Officer 2nd Class Robert Gross. He was 55 years old and passed away on August 16,2024. Robert served 10 years as a dedicated and highly decorated member of the US Navy serving in Desert Shield and Desert Strom. Robert was Honorably Discharged from the US Navey and chose to reenlist in the US Army reserves for another 5 years.
The Funeral Director presented the family to all of us in the flag line. The family had Robert’s Yellow Corvet Convertible on display at the entrance of the Funeral Home. The weather was hot but ok. Thanks for all the PGR members for coming to honor Robert Gross.
