SSG Charles "Skip" "TunnelRat" Kauffman, Jr, US Army, Retired, Viet Nam Veteran & PGR Member
The family of Staff Sergeant Charles "Skip" Kauffman, Jr has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Interment of their Loved One.
Funeral services for Charles P. Kauffman, Jr, 62, of Killeen will be Monday July 18, 2011 at 1030 AM at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Killeen. Burial with military honors will follow at 1200 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mr. Kauffman passed away in his home on 13 Jul 11 in Killeen with his wife and children by his side.
He served in the Air Force and later retired from the Army at the rank of Staff Sergeant with more than 20 years service. Skip served as a "Tunnel Rat" in Viet Nam and was also a very active member of the Patriot Guard Riders.
Visitation will be at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen on Sunday, 17 Jul 11 from 1800 to 2000.

Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located on Hwy 195 just south of Killeen, TX.
Briefing: 1110 Upon clearance we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await the arrival of the procession from St Luke's bringing Charles to his final resting place.
