The family of Retired LTC Ron Nelson has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his funeral service. LTC Nelson was a rider and PGR member. This will be a procession and funeral service only. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Date/Time: Monday, 01 November 2010. Services scheduled for 11:00 am

Staging Location: Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 South IH-35, Georgetown, TX.

Directions: The funeral home is located on the southbound frontage road of IH-35. If traveling north on IH-35, take exit 264, cross over to southbound side. Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Following the briefing at the funeral home, some riders will depart for the church, where we will form a flag line upon arrival. Big flag bikes will remain at the funeral home to participate in an LEO escorted procession to the church, departing at 10:15 am.
