Short Notice Confirmed Mission
The family of Mr. Bob Staires has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Staires died this past Friday as a result of a motorcycle accident in Round Rock. He is a Vietnam Veteran and left the US Army as a PFC.
Date/time: Tuesday, 07 September 2010. Service scheduled for 1:00 pm.
Location: Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX. We will stage at the funeral home.
Directions: From north bound IH-35, exit 261A to Williams Drive (RR2338), turn west, travel 1 mile to the funeral home on the left. Map link: tinyurl.com/CookWaldenGtown
Timeline:
11:45 am – 12:15 pm staging
12:15 pm briefing and flag line
Wx: Cloudy, high 85, chance of rain 80%. Bring drinking water and rain gear.
Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Interment will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 3:00 pm. PGR participation in a procession up to CTSVC will depend upon weather conditions and LEO presence. Upon arrival at the cemetery we will fall under the direction of the Centex PGR ride captain.
